Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 19, 2026

Luxa (formerly VerumCam) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information Luxa may collect, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

1. Photos and Image Data

Luxa is a camera application designed to capture and process photos directly on your device.

We do not upload, collect, store, or access the photos you take with Luxa on our servers.

Photo processing is performed locally on your device. Your photos remain under your control and are saved to your device or photo library according to the permissions you grant.

2. Analytics and Technical Information

To understand how Luxa performs and to improve the application, we may collect limited technical and usage information.

This information may include:

These analytics events are intended to help us understand application usage, identify problems, improve reliability, and improve the photography experience.

3. Photo Capture Analytics

Luxa may record technical events associated with the photo capture and processing workflow, such as whether a capture was initiated, completed, processed, saved, or failed.

These events do not contain the photo itself, image pixels, image previews, or the visual content of your photos.

4. Installation Identifier

Luxa may generate an application-specific identifier when the app is first used. This identifier is used to distinguish application installations for analytics, diagnostics, and reliability measurement.

This identifier is not intended to directly identify you and is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.

5. Network Information

When Luxa communicates with our analytics server, standard network information such as an IP address may be processed by the server as part of the network request.

We use this information only for operating, securing, diagnosing, and improving the service. We do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.

6. Camera and Photo Library Permissions

Luxa may request access to your device's camera and photo library.

These permissions are controlled by iOS and can be changed at any time in System Settings.

7. Analytics Controls

You may disable analytics from Luxa's settings. Turning it off sends a final setting-change event, then stops ordinary analytics events. If you choose to submit feedback, the text you submit is still sent to our server.

8. Advertising and Tracking

Luxa does not use collected information for third-party advertising, behavioral advertising, or tracking you across apps or websites owned by other companies.

9. Sale of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information.

10. Data Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect information transmitted by Luxa. However, no network transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Luxa evolves. When changes are made, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.
